This is probably the most satisfying and loved dress I have ever ordered through Amazon. As always, I did check previous comments by purchasers, leading me to be convinced this dress was a good fit for me;). Oddly, while the fabric design is bohemian, I am not a bohemian type gal. But I regularly find myself drawn to the bohemian designs and receive compliments from friends as well as strangers so I will just keep following my gut instinct. This dress fits as sizes described… perfect fit. 5 ft tall, age 63, full time high school teacher, 149 lbs and still losing, and no returns needed. Great fit, cute look, no regrets.
I ordered a small. I am 5 foot six 127 pounds, 35–30-36 measurements. I have a rather straight build with a long waist and am 61 years old. The dress fits well in the bust with the arm holes completely covering the sides of my bra. It is a straight top with a seam that comes to the top of my Rib cage followed by a flowing bottom that comes to my lower calf. It hides a small potbelly and does not accentuate the bust line. The straps are thick enough to cover a regular bra. The cotton material is soft and thin, but not see-through. It is perfect for a hot summer day. The blue/pink color is vibrant and can be dressed up or down. I recommend it.
This is a pretty summer sleeveless for casual outings. This one is navy blue with brightly colored flowers. Ok for many occasions, but depending on season and dress codes, check your source for wedding guest or work. Fine for beach and vacation wear but also picnics and some casual events. In some cases wear a bolero type sweater with 3/4 sleeves with it. Fabric is lightweight so may cling but not see through. I use a slip because of the cling or you could have a wedgie. otherwise a very comfortable and pretty day dress for informal events.
This dress is one of my favorites! It fits well, compliments all the right parts of the body. It is comfortable and flowy. Lightweight and breathable. The color is great and good quality. It's perfect for Spring, Summer or Fall.
