The top has a rubber lining so I feel fairly secure in it, the back piece is an elastic band and it could be tighter I feel, but it still works! I’m 5’5 140lbs, Bust: 35.5 inch | Waist: 28.5 inch | Hips: 34.5 inch I’m normally in between a size small or medium and I bought a small, I feel I could almost do an XS in this dress. I wore this for my civil ceremony. The material was not see through and super comfortable, also the band at the band is stretchy in case you are a little bigger up top.
This dress feels expensive, but for a great price! I got so many compliments! If you wanted I think this could also look great with sandals or wedges for a more casual look.

Fit & cut: The silhouette was flattering — fitted through the bodice with a gentle flare at the skirt that allowed easy movement without feeling bulky. Fabric & color: The silk has a beautiful, soft sheen that photographed wonderfully in both sunlight and indoor lighting.
