The straps are super comfortable and pretty. The foam base has medium to light firmness. I wanted an inexpensive pair of white flip flops to wear with a few summer dresses, and these fit the bill! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because they are called "flip flops for women with arch support" but they do not have arch support. However, I'm not planning to wear them as an everyday shoe so the lack of arch support is not that big of a deal to me. They'll fit the look I'm after, worn with a few summer dresses. It is incredibly soft, squishy, and shock-absorbing, making each step feel cushioned and supported. The fabric straps are smooth and do not rub or cause blisters between my toes at all. It is so hard to find sandals that actually offer real orthopedic support, but these have a wonderful, contoured footbed that cradles my arches perfectly. Since wearing them, my foot fatigue and heel pain are completely gone. They fit securely, stay comfortable for hours of walking, and look great. The upper looks stylish, while the outsole has a fantastic non-slip grip that works beautifully on wet pool decks or sandy beaches. They hold up wonderfully to daily wear, wash off easily, and the straps don't stretch out over time. Finding this level of comfort and durability at this price point is an exceptional value! These are awesome! Just got them delivered so haven't gone on a trek with them yet, but they are super comfy so far! They are much thicker soles and more cushy than the cheap flip flops and the arch support is great. Not too little or too much. As for the size, I usually wear a 6.5 and size up to a 7 if need be. But having the arch support in the right place is CRUCIAL. So I looked at the size chart and measured by foot. It looked like a 6 in these was my measurements so I ordered a 6. So glad I did! They fit perfectly. If i got the 6.5 i fear the arch wouldn't have been in the right spot. So best advice... MEASURE YOUR FOOT AND COMPARE WITH THE COMPANY SIZE CHART. Some other reviews mentioned the lose cloth bands. I do see where those comments come from, although I dont forsee it being a problem. They are loose in that way so I wouldn't climb on rocks or anything where you need more stability. But they wont get hot and sweaty and rub like plastic ones can do. So all in all I think these will be fantastic for my upcoming trip to Kauai!
When I tell you I LOVE these dang flip flops, I really mean it. They are not only super comfortable and supportive, but I could walk around for hours without my feet hurting unlike regular flip flops. My feet usually start hurting pretty quickly with other shoes, especially sandals in the summer, but not with these. They don’t dig into my heel and the band feels so comfortable on the top of my foot. I already have 2 colors in these, a pair I bought last year and a pair I bought recently. The quality upholds daily wear and tear. Get them!! You won’t regret it!
